Light & Dark
The series explores expressive designs by using strong light and dark contrast. Fabrics used are mainly discarded shirts.

Foulards
The series explores the interplay of dark and light, i.e. the value of color and has been inspired by a foulard.

Steps
The series is aimed at recycling shirts by contrasting the typical subtle appearance of these fabrics with solids of varying hues and saturation

Wall Quilts
While my heart beats for big functional quilts that also look good on a wall, these are pure wall quilts due to their small size.

A Walk On The Wild Side
One of a kind quilts made to explore new paths. The possibilities are infinite… Some commissions too.

Disappearing nine patches
I have given myself the goal to gift each extended family member a personal quilt for an important birthday. For this purpose I resort to the classic disappearing nine patch design but try to freely interpret it differently each time. Be it with color palette, color placement or block arrangement I aim to give the quilt something the recipient can relate to.

Hand pieced
While most of my quilts are pieced by machine, some tops are pieced completely or mostly by hand.
A calm and meditative process away from the sewing machine.

Scraps
These quilts were motivated by the wish to use up leftovers from other projects transforming them into something of their own relevance.
