I make quilts for your body and your home. Art that warms you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can use them on your couch, in your favorite armchair, or put them on your bed. They are meant to be used and washed. At the same time they embellish your home if you choose to hang them on your walls. Each one is my original design and as such a work of art. My quilts are precious for the thoughts, care, and time that went into the making, yet they remain practical objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’m a self-taught quilter. I owe my passion to all the quilters that came before me and hope to honor their heritage. I’m in debt with many of them that went through the process of writing books that inspired and enabled me to learn my skill and I’m even more deeply in debt with all the generous quilters that freely disseminate their knowledge throughout the web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A former business administrator by trade I’ve chosen to devote my time to designing and making quilts exploring the endless possibilities of this creative way of expression. Years have gone by since and I’m as enthused and curious as ever.

Meine Quilts geben W\u00e4rme und Behaglichkeit. Ob im Lieblingssessel, auf dem Sofa oder im Bett, mit ihnen kann man kuscheln. Sie sind zum brauchen und waschen gedacht. Immer und immer wieder. Sie schm\u00fccken auch das Heim. Ob an die Wand geh\u00e4ngt oder \u00fcber eine Armlehne drapiert. Jeder ist von mir individuell entworfen und gen\u00e4ht worden und ein Unikat. Der gesamte kreative Prozess und die sorgf\u00e4ltige Herstellung machen meine Quilts zu wertvollen, gleichzeitig praktischen Objekten. Kunst, die w\u00e4rmt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ich habe mir das Quilten selbst beigebracht. Ich verdanke meine Leidenschaft unz\u00e4hligen Quilterinnen und Quiltern, die vor mir da waren und trage Sorge zum Erbe. Ich stehe in der Schuld von vielen, die sich die M\u00fche gemacht haben, B\u00fccher zu schreiben, die mich inspiriert haben und es mir erm\u00f6glicht haben, diese Fertigkeiten zu lernen. Unendlich dankbar bin ich all jenen grossz\u00fcgigen Gleichgesinnten, die ihr Wissen uneigenn\u00fctzig teilen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Von Beruf Betriebs\u00f6konomin habe ich mich entschieden, meine Zeit dem Entwerfen und Gestalten von Quilts zu widmen und die unendlichen Weiten dieser kreativen Ausdrucksweise zu erforschen. Jahre sind seither vergangen und ich bin begeistert und neugierig wie zuvor.
